Pretty Place Chapel

October 02, 2022

We put God first, even during major school trips! In April, 2022, our high school students were blessed with the opportunity to visit the Logos Theatre in Greenville, SC. There, they watched a dramatic production and had a private tour of the theatre that doubles as a Christian academy of arts. It was an amazing experience and fantastic production! In addition to seeing the drama, our students visited the Fred Symmes Chapel a.k.a “Pretty Place.” The breathtaking scenery truly showcased God's work. Our students returned home from the trip filled with inspiration.

At NMB Christian School, our teachers love to explore various ways of learning! We utilize the Bob Jones and ABeka curriculums in all grades and subjects. In addition to these amazing curriculums, our teachers venture out to implement South Carolina Standards and creative activities into their lessons. These activities sometimes include field trips, special guest speakers, or even games! In third grade, our students will be tour local news station to learn more about how meteorologists forecast weather. In our high school personal finance class, students used the Game of Life to create a cash-flow-statement in their budgeting lesson. There are opportunities for creative learning in all subjects, and our talented teachers have a knack for making learning exciting!

Stallions Take to the Court!

Volleyball has never been about winning or losing. We start each season with returning athletes and new players who've never stepped foot on a court. Playing a sport becomes so much more than agility and skill. It's beautiful, really, the way these athletes display such passion and take every practice to heart. They go from strangers to teammates overnight and their bond becomes unbreakable. At NMB Christian, our athletes take every opportunity to share the word of God. They're quick to make a friend - even with those on opposing teams. They love to get out on any court and have fun, despite the score. It is such a blessing as a coach to have such amazing young people representing our school. If you ever get the chance, come witness the love you'll feel when you step into the Linda Adams Gym on game nights.
